The Mysterious Case of the Vanishing Books
Hey there, lovely readers! It’s your favorite author, Richard, here to spill the beans on what’s been going on with my books. I know some of you may have noticed that my titles have disappeared from Amazon, and I’m sure many of you are wondering what on earth happened.
Well, let me tell you, it wasn’t an easy decision, but I’ve taken my books down from Amazon. I know, I know – it’s inconvenient, and I’m truly sorry for that. But here’s the thing: as an author, I want to have more control over what I publish and when. I want to be able to share my stories with you, my amazing readers, without any restrictions or limitations.
Now, before you start worrying that I’ve abandoned the romance genre or that I’ve lost my passion for writing, let me reassure you – that’s not the case! I’m still committed to crafting swoon-worthy romances that will make your heart skip a beat. And, yes, I’ll still be making some of my books free from time to time, because who doesn’t love a good freebie?
But here’s the exciting part: by taking control of my publishing, I’ll be able to engage with you, my faithful readers, in a more meaningful way. I want to hear from you! What do you want to see more of in my books? What themes, tropes, or characters do you love? Your input will help shape my future stories, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about that.
So, while it may seem like a step back, I promise you that my books will only get more exciting from here. I’ll be sharing updates, sneak peeks, and behind-the-scenes insights into my writing process. And, of course, I’ll be publishing new titles that I hope you’ll love just as much as my previous ones.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support. I’m honored to have such a wonderful community of readers, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for us.

Sounds good, but how can one access your ebooks?

I will be making them available here, and hopefully on a few different platforms, targeting ones that people already have accounts on so it’s easy. Gumroad for now, they are trustworthy and have a send to device function built in. But I’m thinking Smashwords, Kobo, maybe and other platforms – mostly so it’s easy for people to choose the platform they prefer. I have to do a little research into what platforms are open to erotica.
I would like to see more of the like father like son books and maybe see if the 2 brothers and dad might engage in some very taboo situations with each other.
I already miss reading your books on Amazon.
Well, I think a lot of people would like to see that! 🙂 Taking my books down from Amazon was a tough decision, but after some recent issues it was something I felt I had to do. That being said, hopefully hosting the naughty books myself will allow me to write faster and naughtier. Having ai, and algorithms and unknown content moderators analyzing my books for possible unwritten rule violations was stressing me out. So the safe stuff on Amazon, and the naughty stuff here! And I appreciate the kind words, I love that I have fans that enjoy my writing – I love writing for you all.

The freedom to write whatever I want and not be censored or punished for it does feel nice! I get that they have a platform to protect, so no hard feelings on my part, just scrambling a bit to make it easy for fans to find and read my books. I will be looking at ways to alert people to new books in hopefully some non obnoxious way. I’m assuming that signing up to my website alerts people when there are updates? If so, that might be the way. The next installment of Like Father Like Son is coming in the next few days – just in the middle of moving (great fun) so that kind of slowed me down.

Hi, sorry making you feel like that! It was kind of sudden, not sure if someone was complaining about my books, or if Amazon decided to crack down on books they feel are too graphic? Either way, I had to act fast. It doesn’t help that I’m in the middle of moving. But the next instalment of Like Father Like Son will be out in the next few days! It will be nice to be able to write everything I want and not have to worry that it’s going to trigger a review or something. Planning on still writing books on Amazon, but they will be strictly of the romantic flavor. All my very naughty stuff will be on here 🙂
