You know that feeling when a weekend starts one way and ends up somewhere you never saw coming?
Yeah. That’s been my weekend so far and it’s not even half over yet.
James invited me over to his place for some hot tub hangs. Todd, Allan, and Brent were there too—teammates. I knew them to a degree, but I’m the new guy on the wrestling squad, so I didn’t know them that well. Still, they made me feel welcomed, like I belonged. Which was nice. Unexpectedly nice.
What I *really* didn’t expect? Mr. Harrison.
James’s stepdad.
He’s not your typical stepdad. Let me put it this way: he’s aggressive, a little kinky, and exactly my type of older man. The kind who knows what he wants and isn’t shy about taking it.
Friday night was supposed to be chill. Just relaxing, blowing off steam. My life had gotten complicated, and I needed a break—something low-key, something physical. I got both.
We were having such a good time that James invited us to stay the whole weekend. Obviously I said yes. We all did. Was I hoping to get to know his stepdad a little better? Obviously.
Let’s just say… Saturday, morning and afternoon, have been intense. In all the right ways.
Morning started with a bang. Then it was time to lounge around the pool. Beers, coolers, chatting, swimming and sun. The easy conversation. We talked about all sorts of things, mostly about the upcoming meet, but also what we should do later that night.
The banter was easy because these guys had history together. But they didn’t make me feel like an outsider. They made me feel like I’d been part of their crew forever.
We’re making plans for Saturday night, trying to figure out what to do. Racetrack? Bars? Something else? I’d never been to the track before, so I was game for anything.
And then James dropped the bomb.
His dad had something interesting in the garage.
Something secret.
Did we want to check it out?
Of course we did.
Who wouldn’t?
